THE WELLBEING CONSULTANCY ABOUT US

I'M PAINTING NOW THE PICTURE ♥ SUCCESS♥
Marian Moore is a teacher. She’s one of those people who knew right from early childhood what her destiny would be. And, she’s one of those people who, throughout their lives, have left no stone unturned in their pursuit of excellence.
An avid reader, Marian has a love of learning and a boundless enthusiasm that allows her to ‘run with an idea’. In the changing Britain of the 1980s the idea was ‘education for enterprise’; in the changing world of today the idea is, ‘What makes us happy?’ Experience has taught Marian that it’s not money or prestige or fame or power, but happiness that is the ultimate currency. She has experienced ‘the dark night of the soul’ and emerged a whole lot wiser as to the way in which she wants to live the rest of her life. Her interest in happiness is the result of a deeply personal quest to understand not only the science but also the strategies behind a whole new movement in Psychology, a movement which is called Positive Psychology or the Science of Happiness.
The pursuit of happiness appears to be a universal phenomenon. When people are interviewed about what they want most in life, the majority state that they want to be happy. And, whilst we would all like to feel happier simply because it is a pleasant feeling, there are also wider benefits associated with happiness. Happy people have better health, are more productive, are more successful, have better relationships with others and are generally more helpful and caring. On the other hand, unhappy people are more prone to illness and they tend to be withdrawn and inactive.
"The best portion of a good man's life is his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love." WILLIAM WORDSWORTH
Marian believes – along with many other people all over the world – that happiness and how to increase happiness is a worthwhile subject to investigate. Watch the growth of a movement that emphasises what is right with people rather than what is wrong with them. Join Marian, the life-long learner and teacher, as she delves deep into the literature. Read her e-magazine Reality, which gives a whole new dimension to what it means to be at peace with life through attention to the mind, body and spirit. The magazine is free to read or download from this website. In relation to copyright, we ask only that you do indeed 'copy right', taking nothing out of context and always acknowledging your source. What could be fairer than that?
